The interior environment of Shepard’s District has been designed reflect the mission of affordable supportive housing. To embrace this mission the designers developed a space that functions, has a community area, and residential units. These areas are meant to bring members together to support, encourage, mentor, care for, and guide each other. Inside this interior environment the designers worked to create spaces that would contribute to the success of the users. These positive spaces will be program enriched to provide valuable resources and opportunities. Throughout the space one will find bold and subtle textiles, unique wall coverings, comfortable furniture, and create designs that fill the area with warmth and the mood for growth and love.
