Artist Statement
The industrial formations of Water Night investigate the dimension between analog and digital photography. Analog and digital photography lend themselves to be challenging in their own formats. In each photograph, shape, color (the presence thereof), and form are the basic functions at play. These industrialized structures can be viewed as beautiful and majestic forms through the use of composition, color, and scale. These structures explore how a water tower can be viewed as a unique and beautiful element of its environment.
